Students have access to the CHEC Library, a resource that is shared with students from Southern Cross University and North Coast Institute (TAFE).

As a result of the partnership, students have access to a university-standard library, with additional resources, librarians and computing facilities to help them with their studies.

We have a dedicated Senior College Librarian who is available every school day to assist students with any of their library needs.

The Library is open for extended hours and Senior College students are encouraged to take advantage of these longer opening hours. Throughout the year, the Library is typically open from 8:00am until 5:00pm during the week, even during school holidays. The Library is also open on Saturday from 9am till 1pm, during Southern Cross University terms.

The library offers:

·         Resources to support Stage 6 curriculum

·         Curated fiction collection for Senior Students

·         Library Skills program covering research, referencing, study and ethical online citizenship

·         Desktop computers

·         Docking stations

·         Printers, photocopiers and scanners

·         Dedicated work areas with charging points

·         Quiet study areas

·         Group study rooms subject to availability
