Sporting Opportunities at Coffs Harbour Senior College

Coffs Harbour Senior College offers a wide range of sporting opportunities for students to participate in and represent the College. School teams compete in various NSWCHS knockout sports, including squash, netball, hockey, soccer, lawn bowls, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, tennis, touch football, and cricket.

Over the past decade, our College has achieved outstanding results, including North Coast Championship titles in Netball (2024/25), Soccer (2022), Basketball (2022), and Lawn Bowls (2015).

Students also have the opportunity to trial for representative teams across a variety of NSW Combined High Schools (NSWCHS) sports, such as gymnastics, rugby league, and rugby union. Students may nominate for any sport that is recognised within the NSWCHS framework.

As the College does not hold internal swimming, athletics, or cross-country carnivals, students are invited to nominate directly to compete at the Mid North Coast (MNC) Zone Carnivals in these disciplines. The College has proudly produced numerous North Coast representatives across all these sports.

Coffs Harbour Senior College encourages all students to take advantage of the diverse sporting pathways available and to actively participate in the College’s sporting program. Students are reminded to regularly check notices for information about team sign-ups and trial opportunities. For further information, please contact Mr. Scott Griffiths in Room B1.13.
