Students have access to the CHEC Library, a resource that is shared with students from Southern Cross University and North Coast Institute (TAFE).
As a result of the partnership, students have access to a university-standard library, with additional resources, librarians and computing facilities to help them with their studies.
We have a dedicated Senior College Librarian based in the Library, who is available to assist students with any of their library needs.
Available to students in the Library are two dedicated areas for computer workstations, as well as a number of other computers throughout the library, printing and photocopying facilities, quiet study areas as well as access to study rooms which are able to be booked for student use.

The Library is open for extended hours and Senior College students are encouraged to take advantage of these longer opening hours. Throughout the year, the Library is typically open from 8:00am until 5:00pm during the week, even during school holidays. The Library is also open on Saturday afternoons, from 1:00pm till 5:00pm, during term.
Borrowing at Library
Senior College students may borrow up to 10 items, for 4 weeks each with 2 renewals available.
Students will need to present their ID cards in order to borrow from the Library.
The Library sends email and SMS reminders about loans before they are due, or if they need to be returned due to a hold being put on them, so ensure the Library has your current email address and mobile phone number.
